Acer Expresses Sympathy to Taiwan Water Park Explosion Victims

Pledges to Donate NT$2 Million and Help Victims Return to Society

 


TAIPEI, TAIWAN (July 1, 2015) - Regarding the explosion that occurred last weekend at Taiwan Formosa Water Park which resulted in nearly five hundred casualties, Acer expresses its deep sympathy to the victims injured in this unfortunate incident.

In support of the victims, Acer pledges to donate NT$2 million to the dedicated relief account set up by the New Taipei City Government. In addition, Acer is also exploring ways to help the victims return to society after their injuries heal, such as flexible hiring programs and an accessible work environment.
