Acer Kicks Off the Holiday Season with Successful Year-end Deals around the World

Bringing cheer to consumers around the globe, Acer kicked off the holiday season with successful sales in numerous markets in Pan America, Asia and Europe.

In the United States, Acer’s total U.S. Black Friday unit sales during the week of November 23 increased by more than 25% year-on-year (YoY). Acer had strong Black Friday sales across multiple product categories including Windows-based notebooks and 2-in-1s, Chromebooks, and monitors, selling more than 100,000 units on Black Friday alone. Continuing its leadership in the Chromebook space, Acer Chromebooks sales were strong with Acer selling more than 65,000 units during the week.

Acer also had excellent results in Canada with significant YoY gains for Black Friday, increasing nearly 20% across all categories, with a total of 72,000 units sold in retail. Standout categories were notebooks and monitors, followed by strong performance in the tablet and desktop categories.

In Mexico, Acer performed extremely well in “Buen Fin” sales (Black Friday in Mexico). In one week, Acer sold almost 60,000 notebooks and tablets, with the Iconia B1 7-inch tablet being Acer’s most popular offering in this market.

Over in Asia, Acer had significant sales success across all major e-commerce platforms in China on Single’s Day on November 11, which saw unit growth of 25% YoY. In total, Acer sold over 10,000 laptops on Single’s Day promotions, where gaming notebooks such as the Aspire V Nitro reached 30% share, and the newly launched Predator 15 notebook was also popular.

Finally, Acer in Europe also saw successful holiday season promotions. Notably, Acer in Germany, Spain and the U.K. saw unit sales grow by 25-30% compared to a regular week. Popular devices include 2-in-1 notebooks, tablets and Acer Cloudbooks.

Acer Announces Net Income for Q2’25 at NT$1.08 Billion, Up 110.6% Quarter-on-quarter
TAIPEI (August 7, 2025) Acer Inc. (TWSE: 2353) announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2025. Despite the influence from exchange rates and tariffs, consolidated revenues reached NT$66.53 billion, up 8.5% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) and flattish year-over-year (YoY); gross profits reached NT$6.73 billion with 10.1% margin and 3.9% growth QoQ; operating income was NT$734 million with 1.1% margin; net income[1] was NT$1.08 billion, up 110.6% QoQ with earnings-per-share NT$0.36.
