Acer Monitors Rank No. 1 in North American Retail Market in 2015

TAIPEI, TAIWAN - Acer was the No. 1 ranking brand1 for LCD monitors in the US retail market for year 2015, according to global information company, The NPD Group2 . Acer led the market with more than 20 percent market share and grew 26 percent year-on-year for unit shipments, far exceeding the industry average of 6 percent.

Acer also took the No. 1 position in Canada’s retail market for LCD monitors, with nearly 23 percent market share and grew 31 percent year-on-year for unit shipments, despite the overall market decline of 7 percent.

The key to Acer’s success is its time-to-market capability, a superior product line with a complete portfolio ranging from 21- to 35-inches, innovative technology, attractive value proposition, quick reaction to market supply and demand, and strong relationships with key retailers in the United States and Canada.
