Acer Reports April Consolidated Revenues of NT$14.0 Billion

TAIPEI, TAIWAN (May 10, 2019) Acer Inc. (TWSE: 2353) announced today its consolidated revenues for April at NT$14.0 billion, down 14% year-on-year (YoY). For year-to-April, consolidated revenues were NT$68.68 billion, down 3.3% YoY.

The results were impacted by the global CPU supply shortage which improved in April but still presents a challenge on core business operations, and also due to the maturing gaming hardware ^[1] segment.

However, the multiple business engines established continued to strengthen and gain momentum. They include the subsidiaries Acer Cyber Security and AOPEN, the gadget business, and others which achieved double-digit revenue growth YoY.
