Acer Reports December 2019 Consolidated Revenues of NT$23.27 Billion, Up 13.9% Month-on-month and 8.1% Year-on-year

 

 

TAIPEI, TAIWAN (January 9, 2020) Acer Inc. (TWSE: 2353) announced its consolidated revenues for December 2019 at NT$23.27 billion, up 13.9% month-on-month and by 8.1% year-on-year. The fourth quarter revenues reached NT$61.52 billion, down 2.2% quarter-on-quarter and by 3.4% YoY. The year-to-December revenues reached NT$234.22 billion, down 3.3% YoY.

In the fourth quarter 2019, Acer’s business showed strength in Southeast Asia, Russia, and Latin America, while shipments from the gaming line[1]  grew by 21.2% YoY.

The multiple business engines have continued their momentum and are seeing viable growth, these include Acer Cyber Security, Acer Synergy Tech, Weblink International, and Acer e-Enabling Service Business. The strategy of listing subsidiaries are progressing according to plan. During the fourth quarter, AST (stock ticker: 6751) became listed on the emerging market of the Taipei Exchange, while Weblink International (stock ticker: 6776) has begun its public offering process.
