Acer Reports January Consolidated Revenues of NT$16.66 Billion

TAIPEI, TAIWAN - Acer Inc. (TWSE: 2353) announced today its consolidated revenues for January 2019 at NT$16.66 billion, down 1.3% year-on-year and by 23.7% month-on-month, reflecting seasonality.

The CPU supply shortage continued to impact PC operations for January. However, businesses such as AOPEN, Acer Cyber Security, Weblink International, Acer e-Enabling Service Business, server and GadgeTek achieved double-digit growth year-on-year.

In gaming1, Acer’s revenues increased by 33% year-on-year. Focusing on gaming and eSports, Acer will be hosting the grand finals for the Asia Pacific Predator League 2019 esports tournament at Bangkok’s National Stadium this weekend from February 15-17. Starting in Q3 2018, a total of 3,530 teams from the Asia Pacific region participated in the league tournament.
