Acer Reports July Consolidated Revenues at NT$26.10 Billion, the Highest in Eight Years

 

TAIPEI, TAIWAN (August 9, 2021) Acer Inc. (TWSE: 2353) started the third quarter strongly with consolidated revenues for July at NT$26.10 billion, marking the highest in eight years over the same period, and growing by 12.3% year-on-year (YoY). For year-to-July, consolidated revenues reached NT$177.44 billion with 28.9% YoY growth.

Overall, Acer sees demand remaining higher than supply, and the business highlights for July were:

  • Notebook revenue grew by 18.7% YoY
  • Gaming line[1] revenue grew by 20.9% YoY
  • Chromebook revenue grew by 37.9% YoY
  • Server revenue grew by 61.4% YoY

Acer’s multiple business engines continue to gain momentum, its fleet of listed companies have separately announced their revenues, which showed a combined growth of 20.4% YoY in July.
