Acer Reports Q3 2015 Results: Consolidated Revenues NT$67.24B (US$2.03B), up 11.7% Over Last Quarter; Net Income NT$191M (US$5.76M)

Acer announces the financial results of Q3 2015 with consolidated revenues of NT$67.24 billion (US$2.03 billion) up 11.7% quarter-over-quarter. The net income (or profits after tax) of NT$191 million (US$5.76 million) and earnings per share (EPS) of NT$0.06, both grew over the previous quarter.

Acer’s gross margin fell 2.4% quarter-over-quarter to 8.1% due to promotional activities carried out to face strong competition, resulting in an operating loss of NT$704 million (US$21.26 million).

In the process of Acer’s corporate transformation, the company will continue to optimize operations to enhance efficiency, and to formulate effective product mix strategies for local markets and seasonal marketing promotions to boost product sales.
