Acer Scores Eight 2017 Good Design Awards

TAIPEI, TAIWAN - Acer announced today that eight of its products have been honored with a 2017 Good Design Award for outstanding product design. The award-winning Acer products include a 360-degree camera, 360-degree dash cam, indoor air quality monitor, all-in-one desktop PC, and four notebooks.

The award-winning Acer products were selected from 4,495 entries from around the world by an independent panel of experts. The products were assessed according to criteria such as degree of innovation, formal quality, functionality and ecological compatibility.

Acer Holo360 Camera
The Acer Holo360 is powered by the Qualcomm® Connected Camera Platform with a Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 625 mobile processor. Combining the power to stitch videos in real-time, integrated LTE connectivity, and a 3-inch touchscreen for operation, the Acer Holo360 provides an all-in-one solution for live streaming 360-degree videos. The 2017 Good Design Awards jury panel commented that “in our eyes that in this era when mobile phones have replaced most products, new technology is escaping this fate by the power of design. This product is no exception.”

Acer Vision360 Dash Cam
With two ultra-high quality cameras working together to provide 360-degree coverage, the Acer Vision360 makes sure that every angle around the user’s car is completely recorded in crisp, 4K-quality video. When an object collides with the vehicle when it is in motion; the device will trigger a recording that includes GPS coordinates of where the incident occurred. The jury panel remarked that the Vision360 is a “360 degrees shooting system [that] catches up with the future trend firmly, and repeated efforts are made to go beyond conventional drive recorder products.”

Acer Air Monitor
The Acer Air Monitor features a sleek and simple design, the device allows real-time monitoring of key air quality indicators through a dedicated app for smartphones, and by the changing colors of a breathing LED light embedded on the chassis. In addition, home automation based on air quality indicators, such as activating an air purifier, can be achieved thanks to IFTTT integration.

Acer Aspire S24 All-in-One Desktop PC
Designed with elegance in mind and running Windows 10, the ultra-slim Acer Aspire S24 is the perfect device for the modern consumer looking for both style and ability. The all-in-one desktop is Acer’s slimmest ever, featuring a display with a side profile of only 5.97 mm. The borderless display and black and matte gold color scheme ensure that the device will become a focal point of any home, adding a touch of functional elegance and luxury.

Acer Predator Triton 700 Gaming Notebook

Acer Announces Net Income for Q2’25 at NT$1.08 Billion, Up 110.6% Quarter-on-quarter
TAIPEI (August 7, 2025) Acer Inc. (TWSE: 2353) announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2025. Despite the influence from exchange rates and tariffs, consolidated revenues reached NT$66.53 billion, up 8.5% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) and flattish year-over-year (YoY); gross profits reached NT$6.73 billion with 10.1% margin and 3.9% growth QoQ; operating income was NT$734 million with 1.1% margin; net income[1] was NT$1.08 billion, up 110.6% QoQ with earnings-per-share NT$0.36.
