Acer Wins Four 2015 Taiwan Excellence Awards
Winning products: TravelMate P645, Aspire V 17 Nitro, Aspire Switch 12 notebooks, and Aspire U5-620 all-in-one PC
TAIPEI, TAIWAN. Acer has been awarded 2015 Taiwan Excellence Awards for four of its products, including the TravelMate P645, Aspire V 17 Nitro, Aspire Switch 12 notebooks, and Aspire U5-620 all-in-one desktop. Competing against 1,155 submissions from 448 companies, the products passed a rigorous evaluation process led by a 91-member selection committee of experts and were singled out for excellence in the areas of R&D, design, quality, and marketing. The Taiwan Excellence Awards also evaluate designs on user-friendliness, energy-use and environmental impact, all of which are taken into consideration in Acer’s product designs. The awards are a continuation of international acclaim received by several of the winning entries.
In 2014, the Acer TravelMate P645 was awarded Germany’s iF Design Award and Red Dot Design Award. It was also named the “Best Product of the Year” by leading US consumer magazine Videomaker and on the Digit Zero 1 list of best laptops in India. The Aspire V Nitro series notebooks were honored with Japan’s Good Design Award and the Aspire U5-620 was selected for the Computex Design and Innovation Award.
