Acer’s Juristic-Person Director Hong Rouan Investment Reassigns Its Representative to Maverick Shih

TAIPEI, TAIWAN (July 26, 2019) Acer has received notice from its juristic-person director Hong Rouan Investment Corp. that Maverick Shih will replace Carolyn Yeh as its representative, effective July 26.

At the same time, Shih resigned from all of his management positions at Acer, including his current position of President, BYOC Smart Products Business, effective August 1. Shih will continue to serve as Chairman for both Acer Cyber Security and Acer Synergy Tech, along with other juristic-person director representative positions at affiliated companies of Acer.

The product related divisions of the BYOC Smart Products Business will report directly to Co-COO Jerry Kao, while all other divisions will be merged into Corporate Marketing, Business Planning and Operations, overseen by Co-COO Tiffany Huang.
